The challenge

NEET-UG candidates in India face a confusing, high-stakes college-selection process — thousands of colleges, multiple quota types, and closing ranks that shift every year — where guessing wrong costs a student their year. Before building mediCareers, we looked closely at a number of existing NEET counselling apps and found the same recurring problems: clunky, confusing prediction tools, rigid one-size-fits-all guidance with no real personalisation, and content and pricing that were hardcoded, so the platform's own team couldn't update colleges, packages, or counselling flows without going back to a developer. Students needed more than a rank predictor — they needed a range of guidance options, from a quick self-service check to real 1-on-1 support, presented in a way that was actually easy to use.

The result

• Students get a clearer, easier college-prediction experience than the competing apps we benchmarked against during design
• Students can choose the level of support that fits them — from a free self-service prediction to a paid, personalised counselling package

The challenge

When Khidmat Charitable Trust first came to us, their existing website was built on WordPress using a generic, off-the-shelf template that didn't reflect the trust's own identity or the scale of the programs they run. More seriously, the site was unreliable — it would slow down or become unreachable at times, and page loads were often sluggish even when it was up. For a charitable trust that depends on people completing a donation in the moment they feel moved to give, that's a direct, ongoing loss: a slow or unavailable site at the wrong moment means a donor simply leaves, and that donation never happens. The WordPress setup also meant the trust's own staff were dependent on plugin updates and template limitations for even small content changes, making the site harder to keep current than it should have been.

The result

• We made the website significantly faster than the old WordPress site
• The site is now reliably available, with no more slowdowns or downtime for visitors

The challenge

Radiance Academy is a coaching institute in Sakinaka, Mumbai, founded in 2018. In just a few years it grew to over 1,300 students and a genuine track record of medical-college admissions, but had no online presence that did that track record justice. Prospective students and parents comparing coaching options had no way to see the institute's actual results, course structure, or teaching approach before walking in — everything depended on word of mouth or an in-person visit.

The result

• Prospective students and parents can now see Radiance's actual track record — real named rank-holders and the medical colleges they got into — instead of relying on word of mouth alone
• All seven course offerings are presented clearly in one place, making it easy for a family to find the right program for their child
