The Challenge
Ummeed — The Hope Special School works with special-needs children, and the school wanted its students and programs to finally have a genuine presence online — a place where the school's work could be represented to the public properly, not just an internal record. Alongside that, they needed a way to create and share events tied to their different programs, accept online donations, and let non-technical staff keep everything updated themselves, without depending on a developer for routine changes.
The Solution
Designed a clean, warm, custom visual identity for the school — built around its own colours, photos, and mission, not a generic template
Built a fully dynamic, content-managed website so non-technical staff can update every page, image, and piece of content themselves, with nothing hardcoded
Added an event management feature where staff can create an event and attach a Google link to it, so visitors can connect directly to specific program activities
Integrated Razorpay for online donations, with server-side payment verification and an automatic tax-receipt PDF emailed to every donor
Delivered a fast, lightweight site so pages load quickly for visitors on any device
Added an AI-powered chat assistant so visitor questions get answered instantly
Set up automatic weekly backups so the school's content and donor data are never at risk
The Result
The school and its students now have a genuine, welcoming presence online, properly representing their programs to the public
The site's clean, custom design gives visiting parents and donors a warm, professional first impression, rather than feeling like a generic template
Staff can create events and attach a Google link to each one, making it easy for visitors to connect to specific program activities
The website is very fast, and non-technical staff can easily manage and update the entire site themselves, including content and images
With a smoother, more trustworthy donation experience in place, the school is well positioned to grow its donations over time
The whole application is dynamic — every part of the site can be updated without a developer
