Mumbai Coding Club Portal
A platform that proves whether students are actually learning to code, day by day — not just attending class.

A stage-wise, locked curriculum — students unlock the next stage only once they've genuinely completed the current one
Five new coding questions every day, each with a full description and test cases, solved right inside the portal
Automatic tracking of exactly how many daily questions each student has actually solved
Attendance that only checks in from the classroom itself, with built-in student leave requests
Interview-assistant tools to support students through placement
Certificates that can be instantly verified with a QR code
Built-in lead tracking from first enquiry to enrolled student
The Challenge
Mumbai Coding Club teaches full-stack and coding development, and their real problem wasn't attracting students — it was proving they were actually learning. Tech education doesn't work through lectures alone; a student has to practice daily and genuinely master one stage before moving to the next, or gaps compound quickly. Before this platform, educators had no reliable way to see who was actually keeping up day to day. There was no way to stop a student from skipping ahead to content they weren't ready for, no structured way to assign and check daily coding practice, and no easy way to tell which students were quietly falling behind until it was too late. On top of the teaching problem itself, the everyday running of the bootcamp — attendance, leave requests, and eventually helping students prepare for job interviews — all had to be handled separately, with nothing connecting a student's actual learning progress to the rest of their journey through the program.
The Solution
Built a stage-wise, gated curriculum where each new stage stays locked until the student has genuinely completed the one before it, so progress reflects real learning, not just moving forward
Delivered a custom coding-judge engine that gives each student five fresh coding questions every day, each with a full description and test cases, solved directly inside the portal — with the system automatically tracking how many are completed
Gave educators clear, day-by-day visibility into exactly which students are keeping up with daily practice and which are falling behind, instead of finding out too late
Automated IP-restricted classroom attendance tracking, with a built-in leave-request system so students can apply for leave directly through the portal instead of over email or WhatsApp
Added interview-assistant tools to support students as they move from training into job placement
Automated certificate generation with QR-based public verification and email delivery
Centralized back-office operations in Django admin with bulk import/export, custom filters, and analytics dashboards
The Result
Educators can now see, day by day, exactly which students are genuinely progressing and which need extra help, instead of finding out only at the end of a module
Students can't advance past content they haven't actually completed, so the stage they're marked at reflects real mastery, not just attendance
Daily coding practice happens consistently, with the portal tracking every student's completion automatically instead of relying on manual check-ins
Attendance, leave requests, and placement support all run through the same connected system as the student's learning progress
